Another excellent lunch! Love this place. Lovely wait staff and wonderful management. I have food restrictions so the manager is great about helping me substitute for rice noodles in my soup and today helped me get coconut cream instead of sweetened condensed milk for my coffee! New menu is very good!
Can be really busy at mealtime rush hours so sometimes a short wait but it is worth it! -

Food is good enough, but customer service was extremely dismissive when I asked about the 25 minute wait for 1 dish. Updates and explanations would have been appreciated, but all I got is a simple flick of the wrist and "it's cooking". What the hell?
Food good, customer service bad basically. -

With the onslaught of winter in Las Vegas, complete with strong winds and rain storms, it officially becomes the season for warm, comforting, and hearty meals -- and for me, that means SOUP WEATHER. And the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to soups are the Asian noodle soups filled with meat, vegetables, herbs, and all sorts of delicious flavors! ( Of course, it helps that I myself am Asian. ) Thus, for me I typically spring for ramen or pho when winter rolls around -- and when I'm in Henderson, my go-to spot for hot soup is Pho Saigon 8, which is one of my regular haunts whenever I'm craving pho and I'm not in the mood to drive all the way to Chinatown.
Having been introduced to this place by my mother several years ago, this and Viet Noodle Bar are my top two places for Vietnamese pho in town. And in this case, my mother and I went together to grab some much-needed warmth to get away from the cold! Our go-to favorites are the egg rolls, the seafood pho and the beef noodle pho soups. I tend to spring more for the beef than the seafood, admittedly, while my mother swears by the seafood...
What we both can agree on, though, are that the egg rolls are divine! Served piping hot with a sweet and sour dipping sauce, pickled carrot and radish, and plenty of leafy greens, the egg rolls are the perfect way to start a meal here -- piping hot and full of juicy, flavorful pork inside, these are some of the best egg rolls that I've ever had anywhere in town.
As for the pho itself, there's a reason I always get the beef pho. Layered with numerous cuts like rare eye round, beef tendon, flank steak, skirt flank, and brisket, all wrapped in a warm and flavorful broth... I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it! Combined with the rice noodles and the fragrant herbs, the pho was well-worth venturing out into the weather for. It's the perfect example of a food that warms you from the inside out. Not to say that the seafood pho isn't any good -- shrimp, crab meat, squid, fish balls... the entire sea is in the soup! And mixed with egg noodles and a flavorful seafood broth, it's little wonder that it's a hit with seafood fans like my mother.
When it comes to Vegas winters, they can be their own beast because the above-freezing temperatures mean dry nights, which can pierce your bones in a way the wet nights can't. It's at times like this that one really needs something warm to enjoy -- and for me, there's nothing wrong with going somewhere to get delicious, warm food to help one brave the winter here. If you're in Henderson, go check out Pho Saigon 8 for some of the best soup in this part of town -- trust me, you won't regret it! -

Came in here for lunch in this busy shopping center and enjoyed the delicious bowls of pho.
For only a dollar more, you can get the large vs. the small. The ingredients were fresh. The broth was very flavorful.
The service was great. The employees stopped by often asking if we needed anything and refilled our waters.
Overall, I liked the flavors, it was tasty, and the customer service was great. -

Good Viet food here!
I wasn't expecting the high quality and authentic food in this town but it was actually pretty good. Prices are super fair and it seemed to be a popular place for lunch on a weekday. Try something new - banh xeo was also decent. I am comparing everything to my momma's homemade food so it can't compare but for the location, I would recommend this place if you are in the area and are looking for a Vietnamese restaurant with a big selection.
